FAQs

I’m an educator and writer, so that combination made it easy for me to create my own travel blog. I like to give information and write about them! It was challenging to create content that I think people could utilize and enjoy. It’s still a work in progress.

I’ve enjoyed most of the countries that I’ve traveled to, each has its unique flavors and distinct backgrounds and cultures.

I don’t have a “favorite” per se, because each location and experience are so vastly different. I do have to say that one of my most fun trips was going to Egypt because of the group I was with. They were so much fun and we enjoyed seeing all the temples and visiting the sites. One was going on a night tour of an Egyptian temple, it was incredible to see all of the statues lit up and to walk around during that time.

I do have to admit, it is more difficult. I had to take extra precautions while traveling (like wearing face masks) during flights so I don’t get ill for the rest of my trip. I found airfare and the cost of travel have increased astronomically.

Gosh, that’s a hard question to answer. I feel like there will be more global uncertainty and geopolitical conflicts in the future. This will have a trickle effect on recreational travel, as you have to be more mindful of areas you want to travel to and some areas will not be available for tourism.

The cost of traveling will increase with the rising prices of fuel and labor.

Safety is a huge consideration. You should check the travel advisory from the U.S. Department of State and news. Be mindful of your surroundings. You will enjoy your trip more if you take the time to do some research and study your next travel destination.

Yah, I agree with you.  Not to sound like a Debbie Downer, but traveling is extremely expensive with all the rising costs of everything. Here are some tips to travel affordably:

Stay local (traveling doesn’t always mean jet setting to a remote destination far away). You could drive for a few hours and save on flights.

Group it! If you go with more people, you can share transportation costs to and from airports, locations, hotels, and meals. It’s a major money saver.

Look for deals! Search online and look for sales and offers. Especially if you travel during the off-season, you can save yourself a lot of plane fare and tours, even.

This was like a mini-article!

I was quite anxious before my big planned trip a while back. I remember stressing financially, I had to take some time off work, questioning if it was the right time, and I wasn’t sure if I even should go. A good friend of mine advised, “When you’re older, you won’t remember how much you worked, but you will remember your travels.”  And that was true! I can’t recall the specifics of work during that time, but I do remember my trip.

This sounds weird, but maybe because I need improvement in these areas, I’d say having a good visual eye. I need to create posts and content that are eye-catching, but I don’t have a strong graphic arts background. Also, I wish I could edit better videos/photos for vlogging/blogging, but I’m still learning.

I think travel will always be a memorable way to see the world, expand your horizons, and experience new a(d)ventures!

Unfortunately, no. I can’t quit my day job as of yet ☹ perhaps someday. I travel during my vacations and hiatuses.  Hopefully, I’ll be able to write and blog full-time!
